Apple Macintosh Classic History
This Apple Macintosh Classic M0420 manufactured in the 1990’s and designed by Apple’s Jerry Manock and Terry Oyama. The design includes a rounded beige case with a 9 inch display and a slot for the 1,4Mb 3.5inch floppy disk drive. The CPU is a Motorola 68000 running at 8Mhz. The maximum memory is 4mb of RAM. The audio is 8bit with 22Khz output through the internal speaker or using the Audio jack at the rear.
Renovation
Completely renovated inside and out.
Capacitors replaced and a new PRAM battery installed ensuring many years more life.
The memory expansion card is fully populated expanding the Ram to the maximum 4Mb.
Floppy drive dismantled cleaned and lubricated
Voltages checked and adjusted where necessary.
Screen geomtery checked and adjusted.

The rare original mouse and keyboard are included. The keyboard keys are all tested and the mouse movement and button is very responsive.
The SCSI to micro SD interface card comes with a custom made cover by RetroNerd.
This Apple Macintosh Classic boots up perfect with no issues even booting from the original SCSI hard drive. Setting the boot drive is done by simply changing the filename of the hd file on the Micro SD card.
The supplied Micro SD SCSI interface is setup with multiple 2GB hard drives each with various operating systems such as OS6, OS7 , OS7.5.3 and OS7.5.5. All the hard disks come fully loaded with games and apps.
The Micro SD Card SCSI interface comes with a cradle which allows for internal or external installation.
Installation of new games or apps is simply a transfer of files from modern macs or PC’s using the micro SD card
The supplied Micro SD contains lots of interesting and nostalgic memorabilia such as Apple MacUser, MacWorld and Personal Computer World magazines from 1980’s and 1990’s which are fantastic fun to go through.
Digital Schematics, User Manuals, Service Manuals, Emulators and much more are also included on the Micro SD Card.
The floppy drive comes fully renovated and consequently the drive head and eject mechanism are working perfectly smooth.
Four floppy disks are included in the sale providing a satisfying authentic retro experience.
The supplied carry case sports more than ample space for the main unit, keyboard, mouse.
The carry case is well padded with pockets for cables and disks. It also comes with strong handles and an adjustable shoulder strap.
